Time for people to choose between their hatred and their income and place in society
No Hate Act
I'm done. I am absolutely done with the worst parts of humanity being normalized. I am absolutely done with racism and bigotry being considered acceptable everywhere from the maternity ward to the Supreme Court.
With this act, it is very simple. One can have whatever beliefs they want, but if they act in any ways that are bigoted, they have a choice between their income or their hatred. Any hate speech at all whether on social media, in person, or outside of their own home or directed at another person is punishable by fines or jail time. depending on severity and history.
Hate speech will be defined as attacking or insulting someone for something that cannot control such as their gender, disabilities, race, etc. As well as protected areas such as
- Religion... you cannot discriminate only on the basis of their association with the religion, but it's not discrimination to hold them accountable for the actions they do in the name of that religion.
- Body size as it very much correlates to one's physical health, mental health, and resources. Areas and which one does not have control.
- Financial status outside of their control
- Addiction as addiction is self medication due to lack of resources
- Political party, like religion. One cannot be discriminated against for simply being affiliated, but can be held accountable for their actions that they do in the name of said affiliation
If one uses any kind of bigoted or hateful speech, they immediately lose their job. If they are bigoted, it will affect every single part of their personality. There is no separating them from their bigotry, so we will separate their bigotry from society.
No hate organizations at all. You know what they are. If their intent is to insult, demean, or take away the rights of someone else over discrimination, they not allowed to exist. You are not allowed to be openly bigoted anymore. Doesn't matter how many people agree with you.
This means no sexism, ableism, proselytizing, weaponizing faith. No homophobia, no transphobia, no racism. One can have any belief that they want but it stays within their own person.
No one saying that they can't be racist, that they can't be a misogynist, that they can't have their religious beliefs whatever they are. We're saying that they cannot allow them to affect other people anymore. We are saying that they have to make a choice between their income and their place in society, and their hatred. If they choose their hatred, they choose to leave society. Tolerating the intolerable is a complicity. It's accountability time.
If they are political figure, they are forever banned from running for any kind of office. If they are in any position of authority or work with vulnerable demographic such as politician, law enforcement officer, doctor, lawyer, teacher, etc they face jail time if there is any bigoted or hateful conduct professionally. We will hold anyone who works with the public to the same standard of antibias and anti-racism that we do the military. Only, we will actually enforce it.
If they commit a hate crime, we will put them on a National Registry just like a sx offender. There will be stipulations as to how close to other people they can live. How close to children they can live. What jobs they can take. Hate crimes are just heinous, if you will, and we are now going to start acting like it.
I'm tired of hatred and bigotry becoming the norm. This isn't the Fourth Reich.
This is Judgment Day
